Martin -Baker say :

“…the ejection seat may represent the crew members last chance to survive and that there can be no compromise. Every facet of the safety system from initiation, escape path clearance, ejection sequencing, stabilisation, life support and parachute descent to final rescue, must work perfectly to safeguard a precious life.”

We were privileged to be asked to complete some highly complex simulations of the strength and stiffnesses of their Mk16E ejection seat designed for the JSF. Martin-Baker have equiped over 200 different aircraft around the world and had over 7400 successful ejections. Each one represents a saved life and we are happy to have been part of this story.
